I am so sorry about the loss of your only child Douglas. He is so handsome.
I lost my only child Laurie at the age of 16 on Dec 4, 1992. She died during open heart surgery
for a congenital heart defect. A parent should never outlive their child, and their one and only
child makes it that much worse. She was my life and i miss her so much I could scream every day.

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your son Douglas. Every time I read of a teen who
lost their life to careless driving, it upsets me. I also lost my son Jeff, he had just
turned 18 only 3 weeks before he was called home. Jeff was a front seat passenger too,
the girl driving lost her life to, she was 18 as well. One boy survived, he owned the car,
but was not driving. He let this girl drive a very fast Mustang, it was to much car for
her to handle.
My life has been a living hell since that awful day.
I'm totally lost without my baby, Jeff was my youngest son.

Your memorial page is beautiful. We lost a 39 year old nephew to a sudden fatal heart attack just
3 weeks ago, the day after his birthday. It hurts and he was only our nephew....my heart aches for
